Bio

Loren Vandegrift

graduated with a BA in theatre from Simon’s Rock College of Bard in 2005. Some of his favorite roles include Joe in Angels in America, Duke Frederick in As You Like It, Bobby in Company, the King in The King and I, Frederick in Recklessness, Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Harry/Gerry in Cloud Nine, and the United States premiere of Acts of Marriage. Since moving to New York City in 2005, Loren has enjoyed working with the New York City Center Stage in Clementine as Joel, The West End Theatre in a production of Teaching: A Futility, and many films  and shorts both student and independent. With the forming of State of Play Theatre in the spring of 2006, Loren took a brief reprieve from the city to

rehearse and tour the show The City That Cried Wolf around New England, ending in the run at the New York International Fringe Festival. His passion for acting stems from the amount of connection and fulfillment that can be achieved though both the theatre and film mediums.
